The hotel location is controversial, from one hand it's in historical center from another there are no tourist's sights around (except the cathedral) and you have to walk to the real city center.

Fair 4-star for Russia. Perfect location clean but simple rooms. Didn't like deluxe as it's just a larger standard, nothing fancy. Spa is the gem really - you can spend there half a day without getting bored. Nice breakfast.

Only downside - they had a wedding held in the atrium until 11 pm one day, was too noisy even in the room.

Nice location in a newly-recreated Prussian quarter near the cathedral. Hotel feels brand-new, iask for a room facing the river as the other side faces a busy and rather ugly street.

Service polite but a bit amateurish, this is not a place used to international travellers. Breakfast just about ok for a 4 star but could be a bit more inspiring. I did not visit the pool or the gym.

Spent Christmas in a hotel and had a blast! The spa was the best part, with lots of saunas and a nice pool. Plus, it had a great location, right in the heart of the city and close to all the action. The staff was also really helpful and friendly, and they even arranged a special Christmas dinner for us. had a great and relaxing stay.

Had an amazing Easter break at a hotel located in a picturesque part of the city center, near a river and with beautiful panoramic views. The modern and spacious rooms were equipped with everything needed to make my stay comfortable and enjoyable. The hotel staff was incredibly friendly and always available when I needed them. The breakfast offered a variety of delicious foods to choose from, including eggs cooked to order. The highlight of my stay was the excellent spa experience, which included a large swimming pool with a unique swim-up bar, saunas, and steam baths.

The only downside of my stay was the cost of transportation arranged by the hotel. It was quite expensive and, in some instances, I could have easily walked to my destination instead, if only I had known the distance beforehand.

The rooms are clean and comfortable, but the bathroom may feel cramped to some. The spa facilities are impressive and enjoyable. The breakfast is decent with basic options available. Free Wi-Fi and water coolers are available on each floor.

This is a nice place to stay -- high European standard hotel with friendly English speaking staff. My room was very comfortable. Location is in the historic center (lots of weddings outside on weekends); which is about 15-20 min walk from today's center square. 15-20 min walk in the opposite direction will get you to the bus/train station.
